Since the highway patrol car has front end damage and appears to have run into the back of another vehicle, will the trooper receive a ‘failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident’ citation like anybody else would get?

Front end damage on one car does not mean that the car rear-ended the other car. The picture on the local paper’s website shows that the front end of the other car was also damaged. You should reserve judgment until more facts are in.

Guesty, if you click on the Star News link, the photo shows another vehicle with front end damage. The color of the truck appears different in the photo’s …..maybe more than one truck involved and was pulled off the road.

    I didn’t judge, I asked a question. Big difference.

The way you asked was judgmental.
