Stabbing suspect turns himself in

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The man accused in a stabbing last week has turned himself in.

Lt. Jerry Brewer with the New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office said Nicholas Daniel Baker was charged this morning. According to jail records, he’s being held under a $50,000 bond for charges including robbery with a dangerous weapon and second degree kidnapping.

The stabbing happened Friday morning at a home on Cathay Road. At the time of the incident, Brewer said the suspect and victim knew each other. The victim suffered non life-threatening injuries.
