Arrangements made for Sergeant Ed Kramer

Final arrangements have been set for Wilmington National Guard Sergeant Ed Kramer.

Kramer and three other soldiers were killed in Baghdad June 29th when an IED exploded near their HUMVEE.

There was a memorial walk in Wilmington Sunday night.

A visitation will take place Wednesday from 3:00 to 8:00-p.m. at Andrews Chapel on South College Road.

Kramer's funeral will be Thursday morning at 10:00 at Saint Mark Catholic Church in Wilmington.

Although this will not make anything better, I just wanted to thank Mr. Kramer for his service both in the military and with the fire department. He has left an honorable legacy for his daughters and wife.
