Emotional reunion for soldier and son

A Columbus County preschooler had a special, unexpected visitor today.

After spending 10 months in Iraq, Robert Moore surprised his four-year-old son Xavier at school in Chadbourn.

Classmates and family members were there for the emotional reunion.

Moore is home for 18 days before he leaves for another five months oversees.

He has some communication with his family when he's deployed, but says it has been two months since he's talked with his two kids.

"I was getting pictures to see how they were growing, but it's nothing to actually; when I get home to see them, it's amazing to see how much they've grown and changed in ten months," said Moore.

Moore has some big plans while he is home. He is planning to take his kids to an aquarium in Atlanta, and Sea World in Orlando.

How nice to see this on the news. Such good feelings come through in the love they feel. God bless them.
