The Wilmington Fire Department is investigating a fire that broke out at the Port of Wilmington today.

This is the second fire firefighters had to respond to in less than one week.

The last one broke out Friday night.

Officials say both fires started in a bulk cargo storage warehouse.

Port spokesperson Susan Clizbe said, "It was in a different location from the fire earlier in the week, and we are investigating both of them to find out what the issue was."

There was no significant damage to the warehouse, and no damage to the cargo.

No one was injured in either fire.

Good Job WFD!

No significant damage to the warehouse and no damage to the cargo? Once again, the underpaid firefighters get it done. Kudos!

Fire

Spoken like a true firefighter.

Actually...

I'm a mechanic, but I would like to be a career firefighter. I have a baby to feed and I cannot afford the pay cut.
