Harris leads Xavier to 51-49 win over North Carolina State

RALEIGH (AP) -- Amber Harris scored 19 points and pulled down 13 rebounds as Xavier ended North Carolina State's six-game winning streak and took a 51-49 victory.

It was the Wolfpack's first loss on their home court since falling to top-ranked Duke last January 18th. The loss also stopped N.C. State's 30-game non-conference winning streak at Reynolds Coliseum.

Khadijah Whittington tied her career high of 26 points to lead N.C. State.

Xavier improved to 5-3, while North Carolina State fell to 8-2.
