Skateboard clinic offered at Greenfield Grind

Greenfield Grind Skate Park is hosting a beginner’s clinic for new skateboarders at Greenfield Park in Wilmington.

The clinic gives kids a chance to hop on a board and get one on one instruction from skateboard pros.

Instructors say this is one to keep the kids busy as well as keeping them healthy.

"Get them off the couch, get rid of the video games. They can come out here, outside and get some good outdoor time,” said David Pugh.

The cost of the clinic, $15, buys you the class and two free passes to use the skate park to practice. It's open for youth ages 7 to 12.
