» e-mail this story | discuss | print  Toyota is issuing the largest recall in the auto company's history. They are recalling nearly four million vehicles in the United States. The problem: A removable floor mat that could interfere with the vehicle's accelerator and cause a crash. Toyota says owners should take out the floor mats on the driver's side and not replace them. Contact your local Toyota dealer for more information.

if it was GM they would have just sent out a TSB and been done with it...leaving the customer to figure it out or pay for the repair.

Looks like a bad gas pedal design. I have had several cars that had this problem over the years and I never owned a Toyota.
