If you have one of these sandwiches sitting in your refrigerator, check the product code. Fisher-Rex Sandwich Company is voluntarily recalling some of its pre-packaged sandwiches.
Tests confirmed the presence of Listeria in the North Carolina-based company's product samples. The sandwiches are distributed in North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia.
If you have a Fisher-Rex sandwich with a seven-digit product code that begins with 01, you are urged to throw it away.
Products with a five-digit code are not subject to a recall.
