CHARLOTTE (AP) -- He began the season with the Dallas Cowboys. This weekend, Matt Moore will face them as the starting quarterback for the Carolina Panthers.
Moore wasn't perfect on Sunday. But he didn't turn the ball over and finally moved it enough in the fourth quarter to make a dominating defensive performance stand up in the Panthers' 13-10 win over the NFC West champion Seattle Seahawks.
The 23-year-old Oregon State standout avoided big mistakes. He also helped the Panthers convert nine of 18 third downs that led to a ten minute edge in time of possession.
Moore completed 19 of 27 passes for 208 yards and wasn't sacked.
