White Lake drowning update

New information in the weekend drowning of a Bladen County boy at the White Lake Water Festival.

The coroner says six-year-old Jaquan McKiever's body was found in 6 to 8 inches of water under Goldston's Pier in White Lake.

McKiever was with his mother, a twin brother and another sibling when he asked his mom for a ticket to go on the rides.

The boy didn't return and that's when his mother went to police.

The coroner says the child may have fallen off the pier into the deeper water.
