KINSTON, N.C. (AP) -- For weeks, some members of East Carolina's football team have wondered what Hawaii looks like.
By now, they should know.
A charter jet carried the 107 members of the team to Honolulu Monday for their date with Boise State in the Hawaii Bowl next Sunday.
Senior cornerback Travis Williams says he's only seen Hawaii in commercials and heard people talk about it. He says he's ready to go and experience the adventure.
East Carolina coach Skip Holtz says for his team to experience the culture and the North Shore and Pearl Harbor, the luaus, the beaches, and the scenic beauty, it willbe a great opportunity for his players to have fun.
