After several years away, Kevin returned to the Carolinas in June 2006 as co-anchor of Good Morning Carolina. After moving from Norristown, PA, at age seven, Kevin grew up in Irmo, SC. He got his start working in TV when he was just 16 at WOLO in Columbia, SC. During high school, he developed his writing skills with his school newspaper.
Kevin's newspaper and TV careers continued in college at the University of Georgia, where he worked on the student newscast NewSource15 and help start and anchor the show Georgia Gameday, which covers Bulldog football. He also wrote for the student newspaper The Red & Black, as well as the Athens Daily News/Banner-Herald.
Kevin graduated from the University of Georgia in 2000, earning the Bill Martin Award as Best Broadcast News Graduate. His first job out of school was in Atlanta as a Production Assistant for FoxSportsNet South and FoxSportsNet Arizona. Kevin then spent a year in California doing technology news and educational content online before spending two years as a general assignment news and education reporter and anchor at WCJB in Gainesville, Fla. He then spent more than two years as a reporter at WLEX in Lexington, Ky.
Kevin lives in Leland with his wife Tiffany and their dogs Libby and Dory. When not bringing you the news, he enjoys traveling, cooking and watching movies, TV and sports, especially his beloved Philadelphia pro sports teams and the Georgia Bulldogs. He also gives back to some organizations that benefited him as a student, serving as a consultant to the Executive Committee of the Southern Interscholastic Press Association and formerly as a member of the Board of Directors for the International Model United Nations Association (IMUNA).
