Meghan joined NewsChannel 3 in March 2006 after earning a Master's Degree in Broadcast Journalism at Boston University.
While at BU, she reported for a small cable station called Neighborhood Network News and interned at WNBC in New York City, as well as serving as a teaching assistant for an undergraduate newsroom class. Before going back to school, Meghan spent five years working in the fashion industry in Manhattan, even helping launch Jennifer Lopez's line of lingerie, before deciding to pursue her dream of being a reporter.
A New Jersey native, Meghan spent time studying in Europe while working on her degree in American History from Bryn Mawr College in Pennsylvania. She was also voted captain of the varsity lacrosse team her senior year.
When she's not bringing you the news that matters to Southeastern North Carolina, Meghan enjoys spending time with friends, shopping, watching movies ("Gone with the Wind" is her favorite), reading (Truman Capote's "In Cold Blood" tops the list), travelling and most of all making people laugh.
While Meghan loves her new home along the Carolina coast, she does miss her family, including two brothers and a sister, back in the Garden State, keeping in touch and spending time with them as much as possible.
