Sub, Battleship share historic radio call
An historic radio exchange took place Tuesday afternoon between the Battleship North Carolina and the new submarine USS North Carolina. Capt. Non Sanctioned event, membership excluded
As the Vice President of the Azalea Coast Amateur Radio Club I wish to express my regret that this event was not sanctioned by the membership or Officers of the club as it was totally excluded and never even made aware of the event, our club bylaws state that the VP is the special event and contest coordinator and I in the past few months Had made several requests for information regarding this event and was stonewalled by Mr Morine the local public Information officer of the ARRL.

Hari, Why can't you just be
Hari,
Why can't you just be happy for the people that actually did the work on this and made it happen with injecting your negative comments? We know why you were not involved, your club must think that you are a difficult to work with, can't share the spotlight and whine too much.
Good work to those that made this happen. Your fellow hams hope you had a good time.
get over it
That is just way too bad, I'll bring the cheese for your whine.
Who knew?
Imagine: Ham radio is not allowed to exist unless sanctioned by the Azalea Coast Amateur Radio Club.
Hari, would you please cite the section of part 97 (the law regulating the Amateur Radio Service) that assigns responsibility to ACARC? Your club by-laws affect no one except club members.
Sad whining by the irrevelant.
Hey Skip, sorry we didn't invite you
Just because you could not come in and start running the show, you shouldn't feel too bad. Please see the above video.
